Housing three separate and unique gardens, a sunlit marquee and a shearing shed repurposed into an outdoor bar. Guests have described the space as “a secret garden” in the middle of Milton’s beautiful countryside.
Altar Wine Bar offers both indoor and outdoor seating, live music, a games paddock and a shuttle bus service that picks up and delivers to the surrounding suburbs for a small fee.
For over a century, the townspeople of Milton celebrated and joined as a community in what is now Altar Wine Bar. Some of their names and stories are remembered in the beautiful old tombstones that can be found in the cemetery.
